13/05/2025 News & Events

In order to help students gain a deeper understanding of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), with the theme of promoting the Great Spring Victory of 1975 – the strength of national solidarity, the aspiration for peace, national independence, and the will to unify the country, Dai Viet Da Nang College is organizing a series of activities. These events aim to educate the younger generation, inspiring them to study and train diligently so they can contribute to the cause of protecting and building the nation.

The school’s faculty and staff actively participate in this significant national event.

They gain a deeper understanding of the historical value, significance, and era-defining impact of the Resistance War against the United States, as well as its positive influence on revolutionary movements in the region and around the world.

Specific activities within the event series include:

- Changing personal fanpage avatar frames to celebrate the anniversary;

- Implementing a Youth Project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification by installing commemorative clocks in all classrooms and offices throughout the college;

- The “Back to the Roots” program for outstanding staff members and student union members, featuring incense offering and flower tribute ceremonies at historic revolutionary sites ("red addresses") in Quang Tri Province;

- Launching the video series “Proud to Be Vietnamese” on the official fanpage of the Youth Union of Dai Viet Da Nang College.

This program is also an opportunity for students to gain a profound understanding of the strength of great national unity, the heroic, intelligent, creative, and courageous spirit of the Vietnamese army and people who overcame hardships and sacrifices; the vital role of the great rear area in the North supporting the frontline in the South; and the immense support from international friends, workers, progressive forces, and peace-loving people around the world for the Vietnamese people’s cause of national liberation and reunification.
