A civilized learning environment is built not only on facilities and infrastructure, but also on the awareness and responsibility of every student. From keeping desks and chairs clean, disposing of waste properly, to tidying up the classroom, small daily actions can contribute to creating a clean, welcoming, and friendly learning environment at Daiviet Danang College.
Every day, lecture halls and classrooms are spaces closely connected to the learning, interaction, and daily activities of students at Daiviet Danang College. They are not only places where students acquire knowledge, but also environments where they develop their habits, discipline, and sense of responsibility toward the community.
It is through these familiar spaces that school culture is reflected in the simplest things. Keeping a desk clean, arranging chairs neatly, or leaving a classroom tidy after each lesson demonstrates the initiative and responsibility of students.

However, during the course of studying and daily activities, waste or personal belongings may sometimes be left in inappropriate places. A used cup, water bottle, piece of paper, food wrapper, or forgotten personal item may seem insignificant. Yet, when such items are repeatedly left behind in different classrooms and areas of the campus, they can have a noticeable impact on the overall appearance of the College.
The good news is that keeping classrooms clean does not require much effort. Each student can simply take a little extra time before leaving the classroom to look back at the space they have just used. Has the waste been collected? Are the desks and chairs properly arranged? Have any personal belongings been left behind? These simple questions can help develop a habit of self-awareness and responsibility in everyday life.
Rather than assuming that someone else will take care of the cleaning, each student can begin by taking responsibility for the space they use. When a water bottle is placed in the proper bin, a piece of paper is picked up, or a chair is returned to its proper position, the shared environment becomes better through these small actions.
In addition, environmental awareness can be strengthened through students themselves. A gentle reminder to a friend who accidentally leaves waste behind, working together to clean up after class, or simply taking the initiative to keep the classroom clean are all practical ways to build positive habits. When these actions are maintained consistently, keeping the environment clean is no longer merely a requirement, but gradually becomes a natural part of school culture.
For DVE students, taking responsibility for the learning environment is also an expression of responsibility toward the community. The habits developed in the classroom today will continue to be reflected in the workplace and in everyday life in the future. Neatness, discipline, respect for shared property, and the initiative to take care of small responsibilities are all important qualities for every student.
Building a green, clean, and civilized learning environment does not necessarily have to begin with large-scale activities. It can start right from the desk where we sit, the classroom we have just left, and the simple act of not leaving waste behind after use.
A clean desk may seem like a very small change, but many clean desks create a better classroom; many well-maintained classrooms contribute to a more civilized and welcoming learning environment at Daiviet Danang College. When every student takes a little more responsibility, our shared learning environment can become better every day.
