Preschool Education Students Respond To The 50Th Anniversary Of Southern Liberation And The 135Th Birth Anniversary Of President Ho Chi Minh

April and May 2025 mark a deeply significant period for the people of Vietnam. This time commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the Reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), as well as the 135th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025) – the great leader who devoted his entire life to the cause of national liberation, reunification, and building a progressive education system for future generations.

As students of Early Childhood Education, the young generation today deeply understands that learning, self-improvement, and contributing to society are not only responsibilities but also practical ways to show gratitude to the generations who sacrificed for independence and freedom. Embracing President Ho Chi Minh’s philosophy on education – “For the benefit of ten years, plant trees. For the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people” – each student in the education field, especially in early childhood education, constantly strives to nurture a love for the profession, a love for children, and a dedication to lifelong learning, worthy of being the ones who sow the seeds for the nation's future.

In celebration of these two significant events, students in the Preschool Education program have actively participated in many meaningful activities, such as: creating class videos in response to “Independence Day” to raise awareness among the community; organizing a youth project to present wall clocks to the university; making a pilgrimage to offer incense and pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Quang Tri Citadel; and many other impactful activities. These efforts clearly demonstrate the spirit of “The Youth of Ho Chi Minh’s Generation” – always ready to dedicate themselves, carry forward the nation’s heroic traditions, and express their aspirations to build a prosperous and developed Vietnam.

Through this journey, each student in Early Childhood Education is not only a grateful follower of President Ho Chi Minh, but also a successor to the educational ideals he cultivated – a humanistic, holistic education system aiming toward a sustainable future for the country.
